I recommend it because it has some jokes and different chapters but some times they are not different because they always fight.

On June 19 we had field day. Once we got set up we headed outside to watch the race for the mile run. After we watched the race we waited our turn for tug a war. Then we had a bunch of other outside activities. Then all the third grade classes went down to the creek to eat pizza. We then went inside to have wellness day. We learned a folk dance. Also firefighters came in and we got to put out a real fire! A chiropractor came in and we played a game. Field day and wellness day was really fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Written by: Skylar Mrs. Wilson came in. She brought in her portfolio to share with us. She also brought in unique art supplies. After that we went back to our seats and she taught us calligraphy. I thought it was fun because we weren't expected to just learn it right a way because it was a bit of a challenge. She said write the word how it wants to be written. Thank you so much Mrs. Wilson for coming in to share this all with us we appreciated it!!!!!!!! This book is about a boy named Greg Heffley. Greg is always trying to fit in. In a way Greg makes some interesting choices through life. Gregs best friend is Rowley Jefferson. I guess you could say Rowley's a bit of a baby. Rowley likes stuff like the ball pit. Greg's a bit interested in action stuff. But I guess you could say Greg's a wimp. I recommend this book because if you're somebody who wonders about other peoples choices then this is a book for you!!!!!!!! Also if you like this has some pretty funny mistakes. If you'r interested then this is the book for you!!!!!!!! Diary of a Wimpy kid by: Jeff kinney The third grade students were lucky enough to attend the Adirondack Zoo. We had a blast and loved seeing the animals up close. Thank you to all of our chaperones!Meet Roscuro who is a rat. He is visiting a kingdom. He frightened the queen and got chased by the guards into the lonely black dungeon . Meet Despereaux , he is a very small mouse with extremely long and big ears. Who does not follow the mouse rules. Meet Princess Pea who is sad and lonely soul. Pea's family is very frightened by Roscuro. I Adriana Casolo recommend this book because I loved the description of each character's personality and the all the details regarding the adventures of both Rocuro and Despereaux. All the authors did a really great job writing this story. I would like to share this book review with you!!!!!!!! I survived the bombing of Pearl Harbor, 1941 By Lauren Tarshis This book is about a kid named Danny from the city of New York. He moved to Pearl Harbor and met a friend named Aki. They had some fun until one day they heard something. They looked up and saw a big formation of airplanes. Then he heard a boom. A battle was happening. Will Danny survive? I would like to recommend this book because it's based on a true story and it has good illustrations. I can really understand it. I like what it's about. I also recommend the series to everyone. On the Banks of Plum Creek Laura Ingalls Wilder Reviewed by Tommy This book is about two girls named Laura and Mary. They had just moved from Indian territory in the west to Minnesota. When they came to the house they noticed the house was built in the ground. Near their house was a creek named Plum Creek. After they lived there they moved into a house Pa built. He built the house out of new boards and glass window panes. I, Tommy, recommend this book because it is a story you will love because it is full of new things they have to try, like school and meeting new friends. They have to go to a few parties too. They also have to face Nellie Oleson and her brother. Because of Winn-Dixe reviewed by Sara O'Malley A girl named Opal lived with her dad, who was a preacher. He was very sad because Opal's mom ran off. One day, Opal found a stray dog at the store Winn-Dixe and named her Winn-Dixe. She showed her dad and he said "okay" to Opal keeping her. Opal went to the library and meet Amanda and Mrs. Frannie Block. Then she goes to the pet store for Winn-Dixe and meets Otis the sad guitar player. Otis is sad because he is put into jail for playing his music on the street. He loves his guitar very much and nothing can stop him from playing his guitar. I do recommend this book because the theme is friendship and kindness and that is a great theme. This book has sad parts but also a lot of action. Although Opal never saw her mom she has a lot of friends that care about her. And she also has her dad, the preacher. I think that is why this book was a Caldecott Award winner. Give it a try today! I did the bouncy ball project. First I made the bouncy ball out of borax, glue, cornstarch, food coloring and water. I made three bouncy balls - one small, one medium and one big. I tested how high they bounced. The small bouncy ball bounced the highest. When you bounce the ball your energy goes inside the ball. The big ball didn't bounce the highest because it took up more space in the air. |
